How much does daycare cost?
Prices at Walnut Daycare start from £68 per session. We have separate pricing structures so families can tailor their experience to suit their own circumstances.
Is food available?
Yes, hot nutritious food is available, with personal dietary needs considered.
Is transport available?
Yes, we have a specially adapted minibus with 9 seats, fitted with a hydraulic tail lift for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. We offer a door to door service.
Who is Daycare suitable for?
Our day care service is ideal for older adults who want companionship, stimulation, and support during the day, but who may not yet need full-time care. It’s especially suited to those who may be feeling isolated or lonely, as well as people living with mild dementia who would benefit from engaging activities in a safe and welcoming environment. We focus on promoting independence, wellbeing, and social connection — giving peace of mind to families while offering enjoyable, meaningful days for those we support.
Are Staff DBS checked?
Yes, all our staff and volunteers are DBS checked prior to working with us
Can I arrange a taster session?
Yes, please send us a message via our contact form and we will be in touch to arrange a complimentary taster session. It is important that our service users are completely comfortable with our services and a taster session is a perfect, no obligation way to try it.
How do I volunteer?
We are always extremely grateful for help from kind hearted, empathetic, warm and patient people. If you would like to help us out and gain some truly rewarding volunteering experience, we would be delighted to hear from you. As with our staff, all volunteers must agree to DBS checks prior to coming on board
